Website Accessibility forPEI & Canadian Businesses
About one in four Canadians has a disability. An accessible website lets everyone read, navigate and contact your business — and it's increasingly expected by funders, governments and customers. We audit, fix and build websites to WCAG 2.1 AA.

Common Questions
Accessibility FAQ.
Is website accessibility legally required in PEI?
PEI does not currently have accessibility legislation that applies to private business websites, but federal rules apply to federally regulated organizations, other provinces are developing standards, and businesses serving Ontario or U.S. customers may already have obligations. Building to WCAG 2.1 AA now is the safest, most future-proof choice. This isn't legal advice.
What is WCAG 2.1 AA?
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are the international standard for accessible websites. Level AA is the level most laws and policies in Canada reference.
Can't I just install an accessibility widget?
Overlay widgets don't fix the underlying code and don't make a site conform to WCAG. We fix the actual issues on your site.
How long does an audit take?
Most small business websites can be audited within about a week. Fix timelines depend on what we find, and we'll give you a clear quote before any work starts.
