Accessible Rides, One Call Away
Cudmore's Accessible Cab is a new on-demand, wheelchair-accessible taxi for PEI's Capital Region, operated by Pat and the Elephant, which has provided accessible transportation on the Island since 1975. The two-year pilot is supported by the Government of PEI's Department of Social Development and Seniors, the City of Charlottetown, and the Towns of Stratford and Cornwall.
The service launched on October 1, 2026, and the website had to be ready on day one. We built a fast, high-contrast site that answers every rider's questions at a glance — service hours, the three municipalities served, fares, and the accessible Toyota Sienna Hybrid — with a Call to Book button that stays in view on every page.
There is no app and no account to set up: riders call, the cab is dispatched, and they're on their way. The site reflects that simplicity, with a three-step How to Book section, an FAQ, and a launch announcement for the soft-opening hours.

Accessible taxi servicing the Capital Region. No advance booking needed.
